From the dental office to the director's chair

Annie began her career as a dental assistant, where she learned structure, scheduling, budget management and client relationships, the skills that would make her a capable film producer.

In 2019, when she and Sam Menendez established Apollo Studios in the United States, Annie found a true passion for film and began championing stories that matter. As an executive producer, she has brought significant documentaries to audiences around the world, including The Real Cost, on the student debt crisis, streaming on Apple TV, and Hurricane Maria: Stories from the Storm, streaming on Prime Video. She co-directed Priced Out of Paradise, a documentary about Hawaii's housing crisis, with Sam.

She has also produced dozens of commercial campaigns, bringing exactness, detail and creativity to every project.
