A documentary filmmaker's eye

For more than a decade, Sam has led Apollo Studios' creative work, from concept and script to the final edit. He brings a documentary filmmaker's eye to every project, whether it is a feature documentary or a brand campaign.

His documentaries include The Real Cost, on the student debt crisis, streaming on Apple TV; Hurricane Maria: Stories from the Storm, streaming on Prime Video; COVID 19: The Fight Isn't Over; and Priced Out of Paradise, a documentary about Hawaii's housing crisis that he co-directed with Annie Menendez. He wrote and is directing Stranded, Apollo Studios' first narrative feature.

Alongside Apollo's films, Sam has written, directed and edited hundreds of commercials, working closely with clients from the first idea to delivery.
